On July 14, with the support of the Foreign Affairs Office of Shenzhen Municipal People's Government. Shenzhen Foundation for International Exchange and Cooperation, together with Tencent, donated personal protective equipment to the city of Rio de Janeiro in Brazil. The donated supplies, which includes 100,000 pieces of Disposable Medical Face Masks and 100,000 pieces of KN95 Masks, will be received by the municipality of Rio de Janeiro within the next few weeks to help fight COVID-19.

According to the World Health Organization, in Brazil, 41,857 new cases and 1,300 new deaths of COVID-19 were confirmed on July 16, bringing the country’s confirmed cases to 1,926,824.
