
Organized by Shenzhen Foundation for International Exchange and Cooperation (SFIEC) and Guangdong Television,
the 4th "Just Shenzhen Just Young" Video Contest
has successfully concluded!
Launched in June this year,
the contest invited young creators from China and abroad within the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area to use their cameras as brushes to depict the diverse life of Shenzhen.
This year,
the organizing committee
received nearly 100 high-quality
short video submissions
from multiple countries and regions, including
China, Uzbekistan, Pakistan, Cameroon,
Indonesia, Mexico, Italy, and Russia.
Ultimately,
16 works were awarded Gold, Silver, and Bronze prizes,
along with Special Topic Awards, Excellence Awards,
and the Best Popularity Award.

The event received nearly 500 reports from domestic and
international media and platforms.

from mainstream media and platforms in China,
including

Domestic coverage achieved an exposure of
over 1 million views,
with mainstream media alone contributing
more than 600,000 exposures.

What is
“Just Shenzhen Just Young”
Video Contest?
Since its establishment in 2014, Shenzhen Foundation for International Exchange and Cooperation (SFIEC) has been committed to promoting the internationalization of the city. Through its flagship CityPlus brand project, SFIEC has strengthened Shenzhen’s exchanges and cooperation with the rest of the world in the fields of culture, education, science, technology and so on.
As the core program of the “City Plus” platform, “Just Shenzhen Just Young” Video Contest has been successfully held four times since its launch in 2022. It has received over 450 outstanding short video submissions from both Chinese and international residents and gathered more than 1,700 reports from domestic and international media.
Centered on youth perspectives, the contest highlights Shenzhen’s vibrancy and innovative spirit through the lens, aiming to share the city’s stories through young voices, foster cultural exchange and mutual understanding, and support Shenzhen’s development as a more open and inclusive international metropolis.
About Us

Founded in December 2014, SFIEC is the first non-public foundation in China committed to promoting international exchange and cooperation and facilitating the city’s internationalization.
